Clearing Your Spiritual Chametz

RECENT Workshops

On April 5th we celebrated our journey to liberation with the first night of Passover.

For many people, Passover means serious Spring cleaning and ridding their houses of chametz (all of the forbidden grains) and switching up dishes.

In this workshop, we reflected and explored clearing your spiritual chametz: adapting the ancient practice of ensuring that no leavened products remain in your home with a modern ritual of releasing that which no longer serves you.

We incorporated the traditional elements of a candle and a feather as we “swept” away that which blocks our passage to internal freedom and liberation.

I will never forget the power of my conversion, thanks to McKenzie’s skills.

McKenzie guided our group powerfully

embodying her deep commitments to connection, gratitude, justice, the earth and all of its inhabitants. She breaks through daily existence patterns and breathes fresh fiery love into each moment. Throughout the planning and the ritual she listened deeply to the possibilities and needs of the moment. A thunderstorm arrived in the middle of our outdoor ritual and she wove it in with grace so that it made the moment even more meaningful. Her powerful vulnerability and full presence is a gift to be inspired by.
